The restaurant Le Val Moret is located 30 minutes from our cottages: in the heart of the côte des Bar, close to Troyes, the former capital of Champagne. The restaurant is open every day from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (9:00 p.m. on Sundays).
At the head of the restaurant menu, chef Julien Lasserre invites you to discover his cuisine: refined, traditional and local. These plates are elegant and perfectly reflect the area of the restaurant, all served in a friendly and family atmosphere! Local products are highlighted in the preparation of the chef’s dishes: trout, asparagus, local honey and of course, chaource, one of the famous department cheeses. Both restaurateurs and breeders, at Le Val Moret restaurant you will find quality meats from their land. Each season, chef Julien Lasserre renews his menu to guarantee you fresh, seasonal and quality products. Some dishes are still on the menu throughout the year, such as lamb confit 7 hours, trout from Veuxhaulles-sur-Aube, mushrooms from Cussangy, cheeses from Chaource and Champ-sur-Barse and the pink biscuits from Reims. For cheese lovers, you will discover the flavors of cheeses from our region. For the most greedy among you, the dessert menu will delight your taste buds! Finally, for oenophiles, the wine list is wide and diversified.
